A Change of Heart: Cats and Their Charm

After years of being disillusioned with cats, I found myself changed by the arrival of a small kitten named Tigger. She appeared at my doorstep and practically begged me to take her in. After a lifetime of walking a dog every morning, I have found it a great relief to simply open the door for Tigger to go exploring. She does not bark, run after cars, or annoy neighbors, and she rarely strays far. This pet has just solved my aching bones and caused me to consider whether my last dog may be my final companion.
