Exploring Quarantine Life: Tips and Experiences
A long time back, I kinda laughed at this whole quarantine thing. If people knew my normal habits, I would be completely exempt from the whole virus/vaccine instance, during a period when my dog was dying of cancer, I didn’t leave the house for anything but groceries and the vet—because I was here with him practically 24/7 for four months. I didn’t even miss the ldquo;outside world.rdquo; As it is, I have much to do and rarely bother to go out much anyway. With all the people who want me to help them with everything and anything, I would rather hide as it is.
One time, I had to do this when I first moved in with my grandma. I ended up working on my tan on the back porch for a couple of months. When granny discovered me out there with my top off, she nearly fainted. But until we took a look around and she figured out the danger of me getting ldquo;discoveredrdquo; was relatively small, it was fine.
Another time, I was only in quarantine for 14 days last August after contact with someone who tested positive for corona. I pretty much stayed home and carried on with most of my work, which is done on the computer. Or do you mean “while in lockdown”? It is not the same thing.
Sex and Social Distancing
Sex—massive quantities of sex! Only kidding. I live in the country, or rural areas, where there is plenty of space to be alone or with friends, and still maintain social distancing. Or we are all kind of quarantining together so we are safe together.
I have been out nude hiking alone or with friends, both females and males, where we are far enough apart to be safe. I have a quad and have put on a lot of miles on trails, either alone or with friends. We have also done some dinners together outside, being safe again. I have been working on my house as well.
Positive Changes and Opportunities
Actually, it has been a godsend for me.I have put off so much work around my house with lots of excuses—no money, no time, and I was never home. Well, that changed March 13, 2020. So being self-employed, I had to shut down my business, home cleaning. From that time, I decided to finish my basement and give our family another living space in our house. What a great room we all have, thanks to Covid.
Conclusion
Overall, the quarantine period has not only brought challenges but also many opportunities. It has allowed me to focus on personal growth, hobbies, and home improvement projects, all in the comfort of my own space. While the initial lack of social contact may have been daunting, the freedom to explore new ways of life and enjoy the comforts of home has been quite rewarding. For anyone faced with a similar situation, it may be worth looking at the positives and finding ways to turn quarantine into positive growth.
